Television and film legend JUNE LOCKHART has been cast as Susannah Wesley, mother of John Wesley. Susannah played a pivotal role in shaping the spiritual lives of both John and Charles Wesley, and is often regarded as an example of strong spiritual motherhood during a period not always friendly to strong women.

June Lockhart, who for an entire generation was the quintessential “TV mom” from her roles in the series Lassie and Lost in Space, brings her enormous strength of performance to the role. “We are overjoyed to have June in the movie,” said producer John Jackman. “Her personality and tremendous acting experience will bring depth to the important role of Susannah.”
