Award-winning casting director Catrine McGregor, CSA has joined the production team for Wesley, taking over the arduous process of casting the 85 speaking roles and over 150 extras needed for the movie. “We are delighted to have Catrine on board,” said John Jackman, producer of the film. “She brings a depth of experience and a huge network of contacts to our project, and will ensure that the casting is carried out at the very highest level.” Quality of casting is critical to the success and effectiveness of a film.

Catrine McGregor is known as the Casting Director who champions regional actors and productions. A member of the prestigious Casting Society of America (CSA), McGregor has cast hundreds of projects for Disney, NBC, CBS, ABC, Showtime,etc... and is an award winning producer/casting director for her innovative work on the Tex Murphy CD-ROM series with James Earl Jones. You may have also seen her IMAX casting work while visiting Hearst Castle and Zion National Park.

McGregor has worked with such celebrities as Danny Glover, John Travolta, Kirstin Dunst, James Earl Jones, etc...,is the author of the popular book "Acting Across America" and recaived her dual Master's Degree in Film and Television/Education from Loyola-Marymount University in Los Angeles. She was nominated by her peers for the CSA Artios Award for Best Casting for a TV Miniseries for “Firestarter 2: Rekindled.” She is the author of "Acting Across America"
