Filming Actor Todd Ferrell as "Thug" On May 15, a dozen actors and extras from across North Carolina gathered at Historic Bethabara Park to film selected scenes from the Wesley script for a preview trailer. One scene was also filmed at ST. Paul Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem.

The partial scenes will be used to create a short, 2-minute preview of the project, much like the movie "trailers" that are shown in theatres. "This preview is simply to give investors and other interested individuals a concret idea of the project," said John Jackman, producer of the film. The actual settings and actors used in the final project will be different than those used in the preview, though the actors who appeared in the trailer will all appear in the finished movie in various parts. "We had some truly excellent actors step forward to be part of the preview trailer," said Jackman. "Proof once again that one doesn't have to go to New York or LA to find great talent." The role of John Wesley was portrayed by Michael Harris, a Charlotte actor who was born in the UK.

A short version of the trailer will be available on the Foundery Pictures web site at www.founderypictures.com.
