WESLEY Wraps Principal Photography

Director John Jackman and star Burgess Jenkins on the set of Wesley completed principal photography yesterday, finishing a rigorous six week schedule... on time and on budget! Locations included Old Salem, Salem Academy and College, Bethabara Park, as well as numerous other private locations throughout the Triad. Production work then commenced in the blue screen studio the company created especially for this production. A forty-foot section of ship deck was built in front of a huge blue screen to allow the recreation of a storm at sea that marked a turning point in John Wesley's spiritual life.

"The cast and crew did a phenomenal job," said director John Jackman. "This was an extraordinarily complex production, and bringing it in on schedule was quite an accomplishment." The movie features seventy professional actors with speaking roles and nearly two hundred extras, making it one of the largest indie films to ever be produced in the Triad.

Work now commences on the rigorous and complex post-production process, which in addition to the usual sound and color correction, will also include state-of-the art motion tracking, blue screen compositing, and 3D animation.
